This week people are really struggling with how to make a decision, and feeling seriously stuck.
What happens when it's not as simple as intuition vs. fear? Well, it's time to offer the whole mess up, and get direct assistance from the ultimate boss, the only manager of your calendar–– the Universe.
I'll give you a really good example…
This week I had a trip booked to San Francisco to see close friends, my cousin, celebrate a bachelorette, go to a concert, and sit by the ocean. It all sounded perfect, easy, and fun! But as Wednesday approached, I couldn't shake the hesitation to get on the flight. I could justify all the reasons why I should or shouldn't go, but none of it felt like the calm of my intuition. I used all the tools to determine if I was choosing based on intuition vs. fear, and I still felt so unclear. I was having a stare-down with the parts of me that felt guilty or stressed, and like I was letting my overwhelm win. It was frustrating.
I know what to do when that happens. It was time to get out of my own way, surrender control, and offer the whole thing up to the Universe. I asked for a very clear sign if I am not meant to go, and then stopped thinking about it.
The trick is to offer it to the Universe, and then let go of any attachment to the outcome– trusting the right action has already been selected, and you'll soon know what that is.
A couple hours after I offered the mess up, I got a text from my friend, whose beach home I had planned to stay at. My jaw dropped… I was staring at a picture of the ceiling collapsing on the bed that I would've been sleeping on! Luckily no one was hurt, and the insurance will cover her damage.
Once I knew all was well, I could process that… yeah, this was a clear a sign.
I have hundreds of personal and client examples of this process working to get an answer clearly and quickly. Disclaimer: it is not always this dramatic.
Start playing with this today. It can be a very small thing, like “show me a sign if I'm not meant to have this meeting”, or “make it easy if I'm meant to go on a walk with this friend."
I want to hear your examples, and I would love to help you with this!
